About CCGS

Concord Community For Great Schools is a group of concerned Concord citizens who attend meetings and listen to different perspectives. Our goal is to advocate for positions we believe in and to help others get involved in town civic matters regarding education. CCGS is not a part of any other company, group, or organization and does not fund raise for or against candidates or make financial contributions to candidates.

We "voted yes" for the new middle school to show our support for the project, the tireless work of the CMSBC, and because we believe in Concord schools. We supported the reasonable 4.7% increase that was asked-for by CPS for their 2024 budget, and passed by a wide margin at 2023 Town Meeting. We also supported the reasonable, at-guideline 2025 CCHS budget, which also passed by a wide margin at the 2024 Town Meeting. We support candidates best-qualified for the role.

We believe in investing wisely in Concord's schools and educators because we are all invested in the future of Concord's children.

Generally speaking, we feel more community involvement is needed regarding civic matters, especially in the area of education. We hope to inform and empower younger/new members of the Concord community (especially parents), as we work together to improve our beautiful town.

We always welcome new members. Want to contact CCGS? Email us directly at ConcordForGreatSchools@gmail.com or you can use this form:
